The City of Volos Museum is located in the city entrance, on 17, Feron Street at Palea, 600m from the City Hall and 500m from the Railway Station. The following bus routes pass within walking distance of the Museum: 3, 4, 6, 15 (Palea Stop).
The Museum’s interior and exterior spaces are fully accessible by wheelchair users. A suitable toilet facility is available on the premises. The wheelchair entrance is on the right of the main entrance.
The Museum Cafe is housed in a separate building adjacent to the Main Building. It is open during Museum opening hours, as well as out of hours during the afternoon and evening.
The Cloakroom can be found in the Museum basement. Visitors can leave coats, rucksacks, and other items of similar dimensions. The Museum cannot be held responsible for damage to fragile or valuable items stored in the Cloakroom.
Pets are not allowed inside the Museum. Guide dogs are allowed.
Visitors have free access to the Museum’s Wi-Fi network in all areas of the museum.
Mobile phone use is permitted only in the Museum lobby.
Photography and Video Policy
Non-professional photography and video recording are permitted anywhere on the premises. The use of flash and professional equipment, such as portable lights and tripods, is not allowed in the Museum galleries. It is not permitted to publish images and/or video recordings in print and/or online media for commercial purposes.
