The house of the painter Chrysoula Zogia – which is known by the local people as “The house with the rose” or “The red house” – is located on the corner of Gazi and Vlahava st. and in 1971 was donated to the Municipality of Volos. In its rooms 250 works of the artist are exposed – portraits, landscapes, home interiors, temples, drawings in ink and pencil. Visitors are impressed by the house’s furniture, the numerous written comments of the artist scattered everywhere, her photographs and personal items which reveal an eccentric personality.
